THE POWER OF PINK: MAKING MOVES TO BEAT BREAST CANCER
The Power of Pink 12th Annual Workout Event will raise funds for Breast Care for Washington’s breast health services provided at our Atlantic Street location in Ward 8 and on our Mobile Mammography unit for the uninsured and underserved throughout the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Our breast health services include education and community outreach, screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, ultrasounds, and biopsies. We also provide comprehensive patient navigational services for those needing referral to treatment or additional resources.
A yoga workout class will be held at Equinox Bethesda followed by a luncheon at PLANTA. All activities support Breast Care for Washington’s breast health services for the uninsured and underserved in the Washington DC Metro area. Join a leading fitness instructor in a 60-minute yoga class. In addition, The Power of Pink founder, Karen Beam Leder, will conduct a virtual yoga sculpt class earlier in the morning. And back by popular demand is the pumpkin decorating class!
